FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a host or game master?

No. Everything you need is in the case file, and the solution is sealed inside — so anyone can play and no one has to sit out knowing the answer.

Can I play solo?

Absolutely. Each case is a wonderful solo evening, and scales beautifully to a group of up to six working together (or racing to accuse first).

How long does it take?

Most of our cases take 2–4 hours depending on the title and how deep you go. There's no timer — linger over the evidence.

Are the cases actually solvable, or just guessing games?

Completely fair, every one. Every clue points somewhere and the answer can be proven from the evidence — no tricks, no “gotcha.” That's our core promise.

Which case should I start with, and how hard are they?

If you want a classic detective evening, start with The Ravenscourt Affair or The Sona Mahal Affair — elegant whodunits solved by logic and careful reading. If you love spreadsheets, data and a real challenge, ₹700 Crore Gone by Friday is our Nerd Mode case: a hard forensic-accounting mystery where you audit ledgers and trace transactions. Each product page states its style and difficulty clearly.

What age is it for?

14 and up. These are stories of poison, secrets and clever crime — think Agatha Christie and forensic thrillers, not gore.

What exactly do I receive?

A printed case file — the complete dossier of briefing, suspects, evidence, worksheet and sealed solution — shipped to your door.

Do they make good gifts?

Unforgettable ones — especially for the friend who fancies themselves the cleverest in the room. The three-case set is a particularly good gift.
